CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius, issued 201-6 Rome mint, (2.990 grams), obv. laureate draped bust to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG, rev. Dea Caelestis holding thunderbolt and sceptre, riding lion over waters, around INDVLGE NTIA AVGG, IN CARTH in exergue, (S.1918, RIC 130, RSC 97). Minor cracks in edge, good very fine.
