CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius, issued 213-217, Rome mint, (2.610 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG GERM, rev. Liberalitas standing half-left, holding abacus and cornucopiae, around LIBERAL AVG VIIII small letters on reverse, (cf.S.1920, RIC 302, RSC 139). Large flan, well centred, extremely fine.
