CARACALLA, (A.D. 198-217), silver denarius, issued 213-217, Rome mint, (3.063 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Caracalla, around ANTONINVS PIVS AVG GERM, rev. Venus standing left, holding Victory and spear, leaning on shield, around VENVS VICTRIX, (S.1958, RIC 311b, RSC 606). Good very fine.
