PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Mithradates II, (123-88 B.C.), silver drachm, (4.238 grams), Rhagae mint, obv. large size bare-headed bust to left with long beard, wearing diadem, rev. archer seated right on throne, five line inscription, (S.7371, Sellwood 27.1, Shore 85); another Phraates IV, (c.38-2 B.C.), silver drachm, (3.518 grams), sililar with obverse bust left, eagle behind head, (cf.S.7472, Sellwood 52.10, Shore 278). Even grey tone for first coin (illustrated), extremely fine; very fine. (2)
