CEYLON, Dutch Colonial, undated occupation coinage (late 17th - 18th century), from the Netherlands United East India Company, very dumpy flan, one stuiver uncertain mint, (cf.KM.19.2, cf.Sch.1290); similar half stuiver, uncertain mint, (KM.18, cf.Sch.1291); Countermarked with Galle monogram, on cash of China, Ming Dynasty of Wu San kuei (Schjoth 1345, cf.KM.type II [p.146]); another similar countermarked with C/VOC for Colombo mint, on similar cash of Chuang Lieh (1628-1644), (cf.Scjoth 1289, cf.KM.type 1 [p.146]. All unlisted varieties, fine - very fine and all very rare. (4)
