COSTA RICA, type VI counterstamped coinage of 1849-1857, on a Great Britain Shilling of 1844 (KM.95), another with countermark on a half real 1848 (KM.68); another of Cuba (and some Trinidad circulation) coinage countermarked of 1841 with a lattice on a two reales 1807 Seville mint (holed) (KM.3); other countermarked coinage of Spain with IIII as a four maravedis; Great Britain, shilling 1874 with several sharp countermarks with a leek (Wales), a shamrock (Ireland) and a thistle (Scotland); Ceylon, (Sri Lanka), Sahasa Malla (1200-1202), gilded ocopper kahavanunu (M.840); Russia, kopecks of Tsar Theodore Ivanovich (1584-1598) and another of Tsar Alexis Mikhailovich (1645-1676). Very good - very fine, an intereting lot. (8)
