ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), silver denarius, (2.88 g), Rome mint, issued A.D. 154-155, obv. laureate head of Antoninus Pius to right, around ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P TR P XVIII, rev. Fortuna standing to right holding rudder and cornucopiae, around COS IIII, (cf.S.4073, RIC 240, RSC 272); Faustina Senior, wife of Antoninus Pius, (d.A.D. 141) silver denarius, (2.974 grams), issued A.D. 147 at Rome mint, obv. DIVA FAV STINA, draped bust to right, rev. AVGVSTA around, Vesta standing left sacrificing with patera over lighted altar, holding palladium, (cf.S.4587, RIC 370, RSC 116). Very fine or better. (2)
