ORIENS AVG, Sol advancing left, raising right hand and holding whip in left hand, (S.10434, cf.RIC 354 [legend as 353]) (illustrated); antoninianus, 253 A.D., joint reign, Rome Mint, (3.06 g), around IMP C P LIC GALLIENVS AVG, radiate, draped, cuirassed bust right, seen from behind, rev. PAX AVGG, Pax standing left, holding branch and transverse sceptre, (S.10300, RIC 155, Gobl 27) (illustrated); another, Milan Mint, (3.81 g), rev. DIANA FELIX around, Diana advancing right with bow, hound at feet, (S.10196, RIC 380). Toned, nearly fine - good very fine, the denarius rare. (3)
