SOUTH INDIA, an interesting group of different AE jitals each about 3g. featuring an elephant on the obverse mostly from the Vijayanagar rulers and their contemporary 14th - 16th century (6, one illustrated), others with lions (8, one illustrated) and various god standing or squatting figures on the obverse (7, one illustrated). Mostly very fine. (20)
