CHINA, charms, a group of round charms, two with support attachments, others wih magic writing (11) mostly with round central holes, all are featuring a theme of incantations against demons, many of the charms are similar (diameter 44mm), range of 36-61mms, (cf.No.1590, 1629, 2099 Tong guo hua qian, Thierry 95 [2], Schjoth 92, two types illustrated), most with rows of Chinese characters both sides, some with figures and animals, others with diameter 40-55 mm (one illustrated, Thierry p.11), together with other charms with the same theme, etc all described on descriptive pages (2).
