VOLUSIAN, (A.D. 252-253), silver antoninianus, Rome mint, (3.968 grams), obv. radiate bust right, rev. FELICITAS PVBL, Felicity standing left, holding caduceus and cornucopiae, (S.2823, RIC 205, RSC 32); Herennius Etruscus, (A.D. 251), antoninianus, (4.820 grams), obv. radiate bust right, rev. PRINCIPI IVVENTVTIS, Apollo seated to left holding laurel branch and resting against lyre, (cf.S.2743, RIC 146, RSC 24a). First coin with attached green oxidation, second with very dark tone, otherwise both nearly extremely fine and scarce. (2)
