PHILIP I, (A.D. 244-249), silver antoninianius, Rome mint, (3.60 grams), obv. radiate bust to right, around IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG, rev. Annona standing half left before modius, holding corn ears and cornucopiae, around ANNONA AVGG, (S.8922, RIC 28c, RSC 25); another similar Rome mint, issued 244-5, (4.06 grams), obv. radiate bust to right, around IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG, rev. Victory standing to right with wreath and palm, around VICTORIA AVG, (S.8969, RIC 49b, RSC 227). Good - very fine - nearly extremely fine. (2)
