NAVARRE, large bust of Henri III of Navarre laureate and cuirassed on the right with the small embossed collar, the armor adorned with a lion-shaped mascaron; under the bust a small shield of Navarre; rev. double struck GRATIA. DEI. SVM. ID. Q. SVM. 1577, crowned shield with multiple quarters, cutting off the legend at the top, (Boudeau 599, Poey d'Avant 3482) (illustrated); another billon liard, Henry III, (0.63 g), Pau mint, (Boudeau 617); Nevers, William IV (1161-1168), (0.67 g), obv. G M S in field, around COMES GIILEMIO. rev. short cross pattee around, NIIERNIS CIIISI, (Pd'A. 2130 var.; Boudeau 341); another Mahaut II, (1249-1262), (1.01 g), obv. horizontal bar, lis above and two stars below, around ?M?
