INDIA, pre Kushan Empire, Yueh-Chi, Arsiles, (late 1st century B.C.), silver obol 11mm, (0.57 g), obv. helmeted head right, rev lion standing right, above, **L*, (Senior A4.1a, ATEC 1677 var. denomination, illustrated) (ex CNG eSale 240, September 8, 2010 [lot 269]); Indo-Skythians, Kshaharatas, Nahapana, (1st century A.D.), silver drachm 15mm, (2.30 g), obv. Capped bust right, rev. arrow pointing downward and thunderbolt; pellet between, (Fishman Type 3.1, Senior 303.1iD) (illustrated); Western Satraps, various rulers silver drachms, Swami Rudrasimha, apparently included the last known Western Satrap ruler. Very good - very fine, first illustrated example rare, others scarce. (10)

Nahapana, son of Bhumaka, was arguably the greatest ruler of all the Western Satraps. He ruled over Gujarat, Malwa and the northern Konkan.
