GALLIENUS, (A.D. 253-268), billon antoninianus Antioch Mint, issued 267 A.D., (3.32 g), obv. radiate bust to right cuirassed, around GALLIENVS AVG, rev. around LVNA LVCIF, Diana as Luna standing right, holding flaming torch with both hands, PXV in exergue, (S.10284, RIC 609, RSC 599, Hunter 200); Carus, (A.D. 282-283), billon antoninianus, issued 282, Tripolis mint, (3.25 g), obv. radiate bust, laureate and cuirassed to right, around IMP C M AVR CARVS PF AVG, rev. Carus and Carinus facing each other, VIRTVS AVGG around, in exergue XXI, TR above, (S.12189, RIC 128, C.115). Toned, extremely fine; good very fine with green oxidation on reverse of second coin, both scarce. (2)
