UNITED FIRE BRIGADES ASSOCIATION OF NZ, Long Service Medal for five years service, in silver (39mm), by A.T. (Anton Teutenberg, Auckland), with (1) 2 Years Service bar (this not attached to ribbon), reverse inscribed 'Fireman/T.Redditt/by/Tapanui V.F.B./9.6.46' (D&C.L3; O&D.115); Honorary Life Member medal in silver, no maker, reverse inscribed 'T./Redditt/1941/61/Tapanui/F.B.' (O&D.115). Very fine. (3)
A newspaper report in the Otago Daily Times on 30 November 1948 stated that at the annual meeting of the Tapanui Volunteer Fire Brigade Councillor J.F.Robertson, at the request of Superintendent E.Strong, presented Fireman T.Redditt with a five-year medal and a two-year bar.
