ILLYRIA, Dyrrhachium, (350-300 B.C.), silver stater, (8.61 grams), obv. Pegasos with pointed wing, flying to right, **D* below, rev. head of Athena in Corinthian helmet to right, with club behind, dolphin above, **D* behind, (S.1895, Cal. 24 [same dies], cf.BMC 10-11). Attractive dark tone, nearly extremely fine and a rare mint for these Corinthian type staters.
