MACRIANUS, (A.D. 260-261), Base silver antoninianus, Rome mint, (4.1 grams), obv. radiate bust of Macrianus to right, around IMP C FVL MACRI[ANV]S P F AVG, rev. IOVI CONSERVATORI, Jupiter seated to left holding patera and sceptre, (S.3091, RIC 9, C.8). Large flan but weak in places, some porosity, good fine and rare.
