FAMILY GROUP OF SIX, New Zealand: British War Medal and Victory Medal (6/4213 Pte. W.A. Caldwell. N.Z.E.F.); New Zealand War Service Medal 1939-45; War Medal; Africa Star all un-namamed as issued; ribbon bar for Defence, 1939-45 Star, Burma Star (with rosette). The second medal missing suspender. Very fine.
A NZ Defence Department medal issue leaflet comes with the group with hand written notes: Walter Alexander Caldwell, WWI veteran, medals of his two sons Walter junior (pilot killed battle Malta in 2nd World War 1939-45) and Robert (Bob).
