VICTORIA RIFLES, 1853, in white metal (38mm) by W.J. Taylor, obv. crowned head of Queen Victoria to left, Victoria Rifles above, Gazetted Aug. 23, 1853, signed W.J. Taylor below neck, rev. wreath with crown between above. W.H. Taylor London below (Not in Carlisle or Brown). Some surface oxidation in places but with much original mint bloom, otherwise good very fine apparently unpublished.

An interesting example of W.H. Taylor's produced in Australia in 1853 for the Victorian Rifles.
