PHILIPPINES OR SOUTH AMERICA, silver quartillos or quarter reals, dated mostly without mintmarks, 1796, 1797, 1800C, 1805C, 1809C, 1810, 1812, 1815C, (cf.KM.4). Mostly uncirculated. (8)
The status of these pieces is questionable and possibly of modern manufacture, they are not listed in referencs consultated. Some are from the same dies and the 'C' mintmark is added to the master die by means of a small circular punch.
