ITALY, Lucania, Metapontum, (c.400-350 B.C.), silver stater, (7.6 grams), obv. head of female to left, the hair tied into a spendone, rev. corn ear, META to right, stalk to right, (cf.S.407, Noe [NN&M 47, 1984] 431 [same dies]). Good fine and rare.
