NERO, (A.D. 54-68), AE semis, issued c.65, Lugdunum mint, (4.3 grams), obv. bare head to right of Nero, around NERO CLAVD CAESAR AVG GERM, rev. Roma helmeted in military dress seated to left, around [PON] MAX TR POT IMP P P, S C in exergue, (cf.S.692, BMC 399, RIC 482). Some surface roughness, light brown, otherwise nearly very fine and scarce.
