SOUTH ARABIA, Himyarites, Augustus era (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), silver denarius, (c.24 B.C.), (2.64 grams), obv. laureate head of Augustus left within wreath, rev. owl on amphora, symbols in field to left and right, (cf.S.5710, RPC 4997, BMC 42 [p.62]). Toned, good very fine and scarce.
