AL-MU`TAMID, (A.H. 256-279) (A.D. 870-892), gold dinar, El Mosul mint (Mosul in Iraq), A.H. 269, = A.D. 882, with additional field inscriptions 'Al-Mu'tamid' on the obverse and 'li-Ilah' (to Allah) etc. on the reverse, (A.239, cf.M.218-9, cf.BMC 366). Weak in places, otherwise very fine and very rare.
