ERETNIDS, 'Ala al din Eretna ibn Ja'far, (A.H. 736-753) (A.D. 1335-1352), silver akces (double dirhems), Sivas mint, issued A.H. 749 = A.D. 1348-9, another Maden mint, A.H. 747 = A.D. 1346-7, another Erzincan mint, A.H. 747 = A.D. 1346-7, (A.2320, cf.M.1223-4). Very fine - extremely fine and scarce. (3)

The successor state to the Ilkanate in central Anatolia. Their independent coinage began in 742 and is entirely to the standard of about 1.8 grams for the akce (double dirhem).
