Norbanus (c.83 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.99 grams), obv. diademed head of Venus to right, control mark LXXXXVIIII, below C NORBANVS, rev. corn ear, fasces with axe and caduceus, (S.-, Cr.357/1b, Syd.740). Lightly toned with obverse and reverse scratches, otherwise very fine.
