FIJI, Brewer & Joske, Suva, promissory note for one half dollar Suva 1st January 1873, 313. Printed G. Hamel & Ferguson, Melhbourne. (Rogers & Cantrell, Paper Money of Fiji IBNS 1989, pp 56-7). This was equivalent to two shillings, Rogers & Cantrell don't list this value. Minor tear to top edge, pin-hole and rust spots, otherwise very rare.
