Family Group a) Group of eight, Distinguished Flying Medal (GVIR) and bar, 1939-45 Star; Air Crew Europe Star; Africa Star, Pacific Star, British War Medal 1939-45; Australia Service Medal; Bomber Command Medal, Sgt F.L. Curr, R.A.A.F. The last medal unnamed, all others engraved. The bar to the D.F.M. is a copy. Together with Pathfinder bar, I.D. disc, photographs and research including newspaper clippings. Extremely rare being one of two issued to the R.A.A.F. b) Group of eight:- 1939-45 Star; Air Crew Europe Star; Africa Star; Burma Star' Defence Medal; British War MEdal; 1939-45; Australia Service Medal, Bomber COmmand Medal. last medal unnamed, stars engraved, others impressed. With photographs and research. DFM.: L.G. 2 Oct 1942 'This Captain of Aircraft has completed numerous operations and sorties. In each case Sgt. Curr has pressed home his attacks from a low level to ensure success. SInce the award of the D.F.M. he has participated most creditably in raids over Germany and Italy, giving evidence of utter fearlesness and determination in reaching and bombing his target whatever the opposition.'
