CONSTANTIUS II (A.D. 337-361), solidus, Cyzicus mint, issued 347-355, obv. helmeted and cuirassed bust facing holding spear and shield, rev. Roma and Constantinopolis seated holding inscribed shield, GLORIA REIPVBLICAE around, (RIC 39 noted R4, cf.S.3988). Edge knocks and scratch in obverse field, otherwise very fine and extremely rare.
