VALENS (A.D. 364-378), solidus, Antioch mint, issued 364-367, Officina H, obv. diademed, draped and cuirassed bust to right, rev. Valens standing facing head to right, holding labarum and Victory, RESTITVTOR REIPVBLICAE around, (RIC 2d, S.4104). Surface scratches, otherwise very fine and scarce.
