MACEDON, kingdom of Philip II, (359-336 B.C.), silver tetrobol, (2.42 grams), Amphipolis mint, issued posthumously 323/2-316/5 B.C., obv. head of Apollo diademed to r., rev. naked youth or small man (Philip II), on horseback to r., theta below in field. (Le Rider 455, Pl.19 Pl.46, 24, S.6689). Slightly porous, otherwise very fine.
