SYRIA, Seleucid kingdom of Antiochus II, (261-246 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.03 grams), Apamea mint, obv. head of Antiochus II to r., with diademed, rev. Apollo seated to l., on omphalos, (Newell WSM 1142, cf.S.6886). Some surface corrosion, otherwise fine.
