COMMODUS (A.D. 177-192), sestertius, Rome mint, issued 182, obv. laureate head to r., rev. SALVS AVG TRP VII IMP V COS III PP, Salus standing to left, holding sceptre and feeding a snake coiled round altar. (RIC 345, S.-). The reverse legend has been tooled to slightly change the correct reading, otherwise good very fine/good fine with attractive olive green obverse patina.
