GENERAL LORD HARDINGE, 1846, in bronze 58 mms, cased, by G.G. Adams, obv. bare head of Hardinge to r., rev. Minerva standing receiving olive branch from kneeling soldier. (Puddester 846.1). Extremely fine.
Lord Hardinge (1799-1856), was Governor General of India from July 1844 until January 1848. In 1856 he was elevated to the rank of Field Marshal.
