CELTIC BRITAIN, Uninscribed Coinage, Norfolk wolf type, (c.65-45 B.C.), base gold stater, (5.52 grams), obv. abstracted head of Apollo to right, laurel wreaths upwards, rev. crude wolf to left, large pellet and triangular arrangement below wolf, (S.28A, Van A. 610-3 [who notes as extremely rare]). Chipped on edge, otherwise good fine/good very fine and extremely rare.
