BOMBAY PRESIDENCY, Malabar Coast, c.1775-1800, copper double pice (?) with balemark on either side, (Pr. 300, KM.-). Thick dumpy flan, very fine and rare.
Ex. Glendining's 1964. $$ This issue is not recorded in KM, or by Atkins, but is listed by Thurston (1890, p.111). Somewhat better centred than the Pridmore specimen, that realised Å“130 in that sale in 1982 (illustrated and lot 544).
