SICILY, Leontini, (c.425 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (17.26 grams), obv. laureate head of Apollo to left, dotted border, rev. head of lion to left, around three barley grains and olive leaf behind, around LEONTINON, (cf.S.833, SNG ANS 257 same dies. A few light surface scratches on the reverse, otherwise extremely fine and rare.
