AUGUSTUS, (27 B.C. - A.D. 14), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued 29-27 B.C., obv. bare head of Augustus to right, rev. IMP CAESAR across field to left and right of military trophy, its base crossed with rudder and anchor and set on prow to right, (S.-, RIC 265a, BMC 625). Banker's mark on obverse, otherwise fine and rare.
