SEPTIMIUS SEVERUS, (A.D. 193-211), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 200-1, (3.39 grams), obv. laureate head of Septimius Severus to right, around SEVERVS AVG PART MAX, rev. around RESTITVTOR VRBIS, Emperor standing left with spear, sacrificing with patera over tripod, (S.1784, RIC 167a, C.599). Extremely fine.
