SEPTIMIUS SEVERUS, (A.D. 193-211), silver denarii, Rome mint, issued A.D. 210-1, obv. laureate head of Septimius Severus to right, around SEVERVS PIVS AVG BRIT, rev. around VICTORIAE BRIT, Victory standing facing holding palm and shield on palm tree, (cf.S.1793, RIC 337, C.729), another similar, but obverse ends BRI, rev. Victory seated to left holding shield on knee and palm, (S.1794, RIC 335, C.731). Very fine or better, both scarce, the last with unlisted (probably worn off T). (2)
