WILLIAM I, (1066-1087), silver penny, (1.13 grams), Sword type, Br.VI, Lincoln mint, obv. crowned bust facing with sword, rev. cross, around +AEHLFPARD ON GIF (Aehlfpard of Ilchester), (S.1255, BMC 408 same dies). Flan crack, otherwise very fine and rare.
