WILLIAM I, (1066-1087), silver penny, (1.21 grams), Sword type, Br.VI, Thetford mint, obv. crowned bust facing with sword, rev. cross, around +GODBIC ON DTFI (Godbic of Thetford), (S.1255, cf.BMC 435. Surface flan crack on the obverse, find patina, otherwise very fine and rare.
