CHINA, Chou Dynasty, Middle to late period, (475-221 B.C.), bronze, small square shouldered square footed spade money, value one, Shu Fan pan Chin Huo, (Treaty I Chin), [Shu Chou Hsien a city near Hochienhsien in Hopei Province, after dynasty of Chin, in revolt {Fan}], height 45mm, (5.6 grams), (cf.Coole Vol.3 4468, cf.TFP 264, JMBQ p.48). Light corrosion, some green patination, fine and very rare.
