ITALY, Calabria, Taras, (302-281 B.C.), silver stater, (7.44 grams), obv. naked boy rider crowning stationary horse to right, **SA* to left, below APE *[QWN], rev. Taras astride a dolphin to left, holding tripod, to right traces of letters, (cf.S.363, Vl.666, SNG ANS 1046-7 same dies). Porosity on reverse, very fine/fine.
