THRACE, Bizya, Philip I and Otacilia Severa, (A.D. 244-249), AE 29, (11.77 grams), obv. Laureate bust to right of Philip facing draped bust of Otacilia Severa, around AYT K M IOYA **FILIPPO*C AV**G MWT*, in exergue AK CEBHP/A CEBA, rev. Tyche standing left holding rudder and cornucopiae, around BI ZY HN**WN*, (S.-, AMNG -, BMC -, SNG Cop.-). Bronze with delightful dark green surface patina, light edge corrosion, extremely fine and very rare, the type apparently unpublished.
