L. ROSCIUS FABATUS, (c.64 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (4.006 grams), obv. Juno Sospita head to right wearing goat's skin, shears behind, L. ROS[CI] below, rev. female standing right feeding serpent erect before her, symbol behind, FABAT[I] in exergue, (S.363 [£60 VF], Cr.412/1, Syd.915, B.Roscia 3). Slightly off centred on reverse, otherwise very fine.
