MARCUS AURELIUS AS CAESAR, (A.D. 161-180), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 157-8, (3.744 grams), obv. bare head of Marcus Aurelius to right, around AVRELIVS CAES ANTON AVG P II F, rev. around TR POT XII COS II, Spes advancing to left, holding flower and lifting skirt, (cf.S.4795, RIC 479a, RSC 743). Lightly toned, good very fine/very fine and scarce.
