VALENTINIAN II, (A.D. 375-392), silver siliqua, Mediolanum mint, issued A.D. c.383-388 (1.384 grams), obv. pearl-diademed bust of Valentinian II to right, draped and cuirassed, around DN VALENTINI ANVS PF AVG, rev. VOT X MVLT XX, all within wreath, MDPS in exergue, (S.-, RIC 14a, RSC 71). Bright, nearly extremely fine and rare.
