IRELAND, Irish Surplus Revenues Dispute, 1753, copper medal 44mm., fitted with round support intergral loop at top, obv. Speaker from Irish Parliament places cap of Liberty on Hibernia with attendants, etc,; see MI for translation of Latin inscription, (MI No.385 [p.673]). Obverse die starting to fail, extremely fine and very rare in this metal.
